About Lok
Who I am:
Hi I'm Lachlan, a.k.a Lok. I am an illustrator, painter and graphic designer from Australia. I have worn many hats during my life including Electrician, Horticulturist, Construction and short order cook to name a few. Throughout this lifetime of skill building, I have always created art in one form or another. I am a conscious hippy at my core and enjoy the natural world but also appreciate what humans can create.
What I do:
Pencil to ink illustrations, comic art, painting in various mediums, original art prints, graphic design and commission work such as ink and watercolour portraits, landscapes, and animals, both real and imaginary. I work in both digital and traditional artistic processes.
Currently in the process of publishing my first book and creating visual stories in both comic books, graphic novels and illustrated picture books based in the same universe.
Life really is short, but I have filled mine with diverse experiences, skills and interests, many of which have pointed in an artistic direction and have led to living my dream.
